Your recent San Juans posts have been a great boon to those of us who can't make it up to the islands ourselves this summer! I've especially enjoyed the accounts of your visits to Odlin County Park and Sucia Island, as I've spent some quality time at both of those locales myself over the years. (I'm impressed, though, by how much the quality of bathrooms at Sucia has improved, though . . . the composting toilets were nice back in the mid-90s, when I used to accompany groups of twelve- and thirteen-year-olds on three-day camping trips at the Shallow Bay group site, but this new generation looks like how I would picture a Medina composting outhouse to be. Go State Parks!)
